Part of a National and International Network of Service

Lions are very proud to be part of a long, international tradition of service.  Our commitment to ministry for the hearing and sight impared came from a very early challenge and invitation from Helen Keller herself.  Since then we have committed ourselves to be of service in our local communities and to support other regional, national and international projects as fully as possible.

There are Lions in over 200 countries world-wide.

Join us - wherever you are!

Oregon City Lions Club Steps Up to Lead the Teddy Bear Parade!

The Teddy Bear Parade is one of Oregon City's signature events. It’s a one-hour parade over a 1.10 Mile route. The Teddy Bear Parade has been a community highlight for Oregon City and the entire county for the past 17 years. The Parade ends at the Pioneer Family Festival at Clackamette Park. The Teddy Bear Parade gathers new teddy bears/stuffed animals that are given to law enforcement agencies, fire departments, emergency rooms, children’s hospitals and women’s shelters in Clackamas County. These stuffed animals are then distributed to children throughout our community who need comfort in times of crisis. The parade is also a time for us to honor our community’s emergency personnel who protect the entire community. The 2014 Parade will be lead by the Oregon City Lions Club, CARES and presenting sponsor, the Oregonians Credit Union! For more information about the Teddy Bear Parade to particpate or attend, refer to http://www.octeddybearparade.com/index.html.
