The OC Lions are delighted you have found us. We meet every first and third Tuesday at 4:30 pm at Highcliffe Restaurant in Oregon City. We are always looking for new members who want to make a difference in the local community by being part of the largest and oldest volunteer service orgainization in America!

Lions are very proud to be part of a long, international tradition of service. Our commitment to ministry for the hearing and sight impared came from a very early challenge and invitation from Helen Keller herself. Since then we have committed ourselves to be of service in our local communities and to support other regional, national and international projects as fully as possible.
There are Lions in over 200 countries world-wide.

OREGON CITY LIONS RECOGNIZED AT CHAMBER AWARDS CEREMONY
The Oregon City Lions Club and two of its members were recognized for several community awards at the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday January 25th. The awards were as follows:
Partner of the Year: Oregon City Lions Club
Best Non-Profit or Civic Organization: Oregon City Lions Club
Outstanding Chamber Member of the Year: Ray Stobie, member of OC Lions Club
Best Logo: First City Cycle, owner, Blane Meier, President of OC Lions Club
Small Business of the Year: First City Cycle, owner, Blane Meier, President of OC Lions Club
Mike McCarroll Memorial Award: Blane Meier, President of OC Lions ClubThe Mike McCarroll Memorial Award is a new award, given to a businessperson who demonstrates unselfish service to the community while exemplifying high professional standards and commitment to the business community. It is extremely fitting to have Blane Meier, a fellow Lion and Club President, recognized for this award.

Joining the Oregon City Lions Club is a wonderful way of building community, serving others, and having a lot of fun in the process. We are all local business owners, family members and neighbors who meet to do service projects, help raise funds for those in need, and generally support each other as we strive to make our wonderful and historic city an even better place to live!
